To Hell 'n Gone - Obie Oberholzer
Condition: Struik 1991 first edition. Very good hardback. Very slight indentation on back of printed board cover, spine slightly cocked, otherwise pages are in perfect condition with brilliant, vibrant colours and presentation. The dust jacket is available, but is torn.
"Meob Bay lies along the Skeleton Coast in the Namib Desert. The loneliness stings you like the sand in a desert storm. I turn around and around and look everywhere. As the Umbulunga bird flies the nearest people are 250k's south at Luderitz, 150k's north at Walvis Bay, 130k's east at the Namib Naukluft National Park and 3,960 nautical miles west at the Brazilian fishing village of St. Sebastião. To my right, a jackal runs along the top of some low dunes. There's also a jackal in the Brussells zoo." ~ From rear board.
